CBO Community Impact
- REACH: 76 smallholder farmers (65% women-headed) trained in low-till farming, agroforestry & organic fertilizer production.
- COMMUNITY CHANGE: Household food security score improved 31% (HFIAS); 5 communal agroforestry plots established (9 acres).
- ENVIRONMENTAL: Estimated 38-tonne annual CO₂-equivalent reduction — verified by field measurement.
- ECONOMIC: Average farm income rose 24% (≈ KES 3,600/month) at 6-month post-training; 2 organic farmer SHGs registered.
- SUSTAINABILITY: Model farm at Githunguri managed entirely by farmer beneficiaries 18 months after project close.
